Agnikul, a spacetech company based in Chennai, created history last year when it launched the first rocket in history to use a single-piece 3D-printed engine. The fact that Agnikul used a 3D-printed rocket engine to do this in just three days, saving time, effort, and money, made the accomplishment even more remarkable. Normally, the construction of a rocket engine takes up to six months, with an entire preparation period of 10–11 months.
